arios Koutsoukos was born in August, 1983. He writes both in his native Greek and English. His first novel was published back in 2001 and, since then, he refuses to give up this writer nonsense and get a real job. He is a well-known and rather notorious genre-jumper. He has written works ranging from the purely academic to epic fantasy and contemporary fiction. He has a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Masters in Creative Writing from the Hellenic Open University and has completed his PhD in Classics at the University of Liverpool (Department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology). Of all things, he chose to specialise in the history of ancient religions and philosophy in Late Antiquity.
